About Us

Mission Statement

We endeavour to satisfy our customers in both the quality and delivery of our design work:

The designer’s role is to get to the core of the client’s brief; to find an elegant architectural resolution in terms of form, space and character and to deliver this with efficiency, clarity and consideration.

We set high standards in our new build and conservation work, to ensure that it is an appropriate and sustainable contribution to the built environment.

Expertise

The practice is led by Peter Rawlings, who is an ARB registered and RIBA Chartered Architect; Peter is also conservation accredited by the AABC and has more than twenty years’ experience in practice. He trained as an architect at the University of Cambridge where he went on to take an MPhil in History and Philosophy of Architecture.
Peter is supported by a team of associate architects, engineers and consultants.

Professional and practice profile

Peter established his own architectural practice in Spring 2013. He qualified as an architect in 1991, after which he worked with a number of regionally and nationally acclaimed practices.

Sustainability

A sustainable approach underpins all our design decisions, encompassing economic, environmental and social sustainability. The practice is working towards environmental accreditation under ISO 14001.

Quality Managment

Our objective is to balance creative, intuitive and innovative thinking with a systematic approach that provides those vital checks and balances to the process of design. The practice is working towards quality management accreditation under ISO 9001.
